Each itinerary highlights areas of natural beauty on the island such as the Vineyard Haven Harbor, State Beach and Ocean Park in Oak Bluffs. Large schools of fish or even the occasional shark are visible from the air, most often sighted on the Chappaquiddick tour. Relax and unwind with a cool beverage after a romantic sunset flight. Imagine the view from the open cockpit as you head into the Vineyard sunset and watch as the sun sets over beautiful South Beach.

Established in 1924, few similar landing facilities have retained their original look and utility as Katama Airfield. Katama Airfield is one of the few places where a pilot can land and taxi his airplane right up to the beach, park and take-off after a day of sunning and swimming. There is an MVTA bus stop across from the airfield which makes it easily accessible by public transportation.
