As every Edgartown morning dawns, Espresso Love's efficient staff bustles to serve up breakfast treats and superior micro-roasted coffee. Espresso Love gets twice-weekly bean shipments for the freshest cup on the island. From the inventive (frozen mint chocolate chip cappuccino) to the traditional (Americanos, machiatos, etc.), every coffee creation is crafted from artisan blends using top of the line equipment for a treat to satisfy any coffee connoisseur. A wide array of teas and chai (frozen or hot) are also available as are fresh fruit smoothies. Locals, visitors and the occasional celebrity mingle in the café, patio and garden dining areas.
If you love what you taste at Espresso Love, you're in luck - owner Carol McManus has combined her love of food and family into a new cookbook that will come out this summer. Her book, "Table Talk", is a collection of more than 80 recipes for all occasions,

Love in the Morning
Come in and grab a pastry on the fly, or enjoy a fresh breakfast sandwich in the patio garden. Espresso Love opens at 6:30 am and is a hot spot every morning for those in the know. Freshly baked muffins, scones, croissants and cinnamon rolls provide the start to a perfect Vineyard day. Breakfast sandwiches include Mike's Breakfast Bagel with avocado and the Sunrise Sandwich (a delicious combination of Egg, Bacon & Pepper Jack Cheese served on an English Muffin). Enjoy a leisurely morning at the Island's only outdoor breakfast spot or rev up for a day exploring MV with a cup of the best coffee the island has to offer.
Lunch in the Garden
Carol's travels have provided inspiration for her eclectic menu of sandwiches and salads. East meets southwest on the extensive list of gourmet sandwiches - from lobster or fresh tuna salad to wraps featuring chipotle aioli and guacamole. Vegetarians are accommodated with many choices. Homemade salads, pizzas, quiches and soups change daily. The Love Salad combines apples, goat cheese, walnuts and a raspberry vinaigrette for a great light lunch that leaves room for one of the delectable freshly baked treats from the bakery case.
Light Bite and Late Night
For casual sophisticated dining, Espresso Love is the place to go in Edgartown. A selection of interesting salads, soups, seafood starters, thin crust pizzas, and burgers and other sandwiches are served up al fresco in the "enchanted garden" or on the patio. Paired with a beer or a bottle or glass of wine, a light dinner in the garden may be the highlight of your Vineyard visit, and it won't blow the vacation budget. Dinner is served until 10 pm for the convenience of those looking for a bite after a concert or a movie. Starting June 20, 2008, you can stop by until 11pm for one of Espresso Love's delectable desserts and a cordial or coffee drink. The dessert menu varies from French to the all American key lime pie or fruit cobbler. Dessert wines and a variety of coffee drinks round out the after-dinner offerings.
